Here’s some Dr. Seuss Party Inspiration for you, in case you love Dr. Seuss as much as I do!
Jaxen turned one at the beginning of December, and I had been planning his birthday party for months. I love parties! My shoulder got wrecked in the meantime, so I had to scale back quite a bit. Since I had planned so well, it was easy for my family to take over where I couldn’t, and the party went off without a hitch! Thank you to my mom and mother-in-law for helping so much!
Here’s some Dr. Seuss party inspiration photos of the snack and dessert table. We also had hamburger and hot dogs served later, but this was the main table for the guests!
As you an see we had a wide variety of snacks: Deviled green eggs and ham skewers, veggies, gold fish, and Cat in the Hat fruit skewers, along with cupcakes.
I had little notecards near the dishes with cute little Dr. Seussy poems about the food. The tablecloth, paperware, utensils and lollipops were from OrientalTrading.com and the banner and posters were from Photo Designz on Etsy. You can find TONS of Dr. Seuss stuff on Etsy!
To go along with the theme, we were all dressed up with various Dr. Seuss shirts, and my mom even dressed up as The Cat In The Hat!
Jax was of course spoiled, and received a TON of gifts, and everyone enjoyed watching him open them.
Then it was time for cupcakes! Happy Birthday was sung, and then jax enjoyed smearing his uber blue frosting everywhere!
All in all it was a successful birthday party! The weather was nice, so the kids and adults got to be outside!
