Wine Cork Crafts for you to try!
I like wine. A lot. I also like making crafts, so a wine cork craft was a perfect solution! Hubby and I started keeping our wine corks a few years back, and now I’m finally getting around to doing something with them. I’ll show you what I made this weekend, but first, here are some ideas for things to do with cork – don’t let it limit your imagination! I’d love to see what my readers come up with!
You can check out all the cork projects I’ve found on my Pinterest Board.
Now, for my masterpiece!
I had a lone red placemat that I glued my favorite cheapo wine cork to the back of. I can use the pretty fabric side or the cork side!
Since the corks are synthetic cork, they were easy to slice with a knife. Real cork is much harder to cut. I cut them all in half, and just glued them onto the mat, using an alternating pattern!

I love the Lucky Duck Logo, and it reminded me of silk screening since some are darker than others. It has an Asian feel, which is how our dining room is decorated. See the final outcome below!
I hope you like it, It looks great on our dining table, and I can use it as a large trivet if needed!

I do love that! So creative. I never thought about doing things with wine corks. I love the other ideas also on your board.

That is a really awesome craft, and who knew there were so many great and interesting (I am all about interesting) things that could be made from wine corks!

Oh, wow. That looks AWESOME. I’m not a wine drinker, myself, but my MIL is. I just might have to start getting her to keep her corks for me. (And really, is there such a thing as too many trivets?)

This is an awesome idea! I am going to have to start saving the hubby’s and mine wine bottle corks! It makes really unique decor. Plus it’s eco-friendly

What a cool idea! I have a cool shaped glass jar full of wine corks that I keep on my dining room table. Makes a great decorative piece.
